Very I'll piggy really need any help anyone has

My lovely piggie is only a year and half and she's on the verge of being put down :( the vet had no idea what was wrong with her and she's with a specialist who is completely confused. She has an extremely swollen front leg and her back leg is completely out of use (opposite side of body to front leg) her back leg extends out so it's not spinal but she lays at a strange angle and refuses to ever get up or move her back leg tends to stick out her other side by her other back leg. She has a lump on her back and in her abdomen. Eating fine very bubbly but keeps seeing herself because she can't move :( anyone experienced anything like this!? Starting to give up :( X-ray on front leg showed nothing we thought it was an infection but medicine isn't fixing it :(

Erm I couldn't tell you I'm afraid I don't have them with me there's an antiminflametry and an antibiotic which smells like banana think it's used for URIs any help would be great running out of options and money :( she's having a biopsy because they think the swollen front leg may be a tumor and an extract of her back end son fingers crossed but just be great if anyone had any ideas or success story's :/

Has a urine test been done? This can find issues such as liver/kidney malfunction. Which vet are you using?

The AB which smells of banana is Septrin. There are other stronger ABs available, pain relief with anti-inflammatory is metacam.

Sounds like she needs more antibiotics, something strong like zith-romax or a combination of drugs maybe. Swelling could be anything from infection to a build up of fluid.

Has the vet tried to sample the swelling to see if there is any puss or fluid etc? Has your piggie had xrays, like of the abdomen/chest etc? Have they taken any blood samples, ultrasounds or any other diagnotics?

Sounds like the antibiotic isnt working septrin is trimithoprim and generally works best with urine infections. Your piggie needs a better antibiotic.

Biopsy and X-rays are being done, X-ray of front leg showed nothing :( and yeh those were the medications she's taking atm think there re evaluating Weather it's an infection or not
