very quiet

They need time to settle in to there new surrounding. It shouldn't take them long at all as you have two of them so it will be easier for them to settle in rather then if you only had one on her own.

Can't remember how long it took mine, but it wasn't too long at all for Frank to start squeeking away! I expect you will find it happens when you get their veggies ready for them, once the fresh smell of veggies hits the air that will do the trick O0
 
It took Simba a wheek or 2 till he started but now cant shut him up!
And my babies have been wheeking and theyre only 1week old hehe
 
hubby cant wait to hear it,, he loves the noise.. hes soft over these 2.. never thought id say it but he loves the tiny critters
 
Mine were quiet in the begining but now you cant shut them up especially at breakfast! I love Ambers wheeks as its soooo loud her ears flap ;D ;D
 
Violet is a right little chatterbox, she squeeks and popcorns around her cage every morning whilst i cut up the fruit and veg. I've only had her approx 1 month and am still having fun working out what her different wheeks mean.
 
All of mine shout at me ;D ;D Lilly the tiny baby is the worst by faaaaaar, and shes only hamster size ;D

As soon as they recognise the noises (rusling etc) associated with food and are more settled, I'm sure they will be wheeking constantly! ;D ;D ;D

Haha Petal's ears flap aswell cos her wheeks are so loud.

Jessie didn't wheek for a while maybe a week or so but Petal started wheekin the same night we got her and believe me she hasn't shut up since ::) ;D
 
I've had mine for 2 weeks and no squeeks :( i still can't get near her :( as soon as we into the room she runs off, i am beginning to loose hope :(
 
2 weeks is nothing! Guinea pigs are really nervous by nature, and if i sneeze near the cages I hear piggies rushing from all directions into the pigloo 98) ;D ;D
 
well weve been laid listening to them tonight, especially when i was softly combing for lice.. poor things, imjust hoping they liked it and wasnt scared as i was doing it. chanel likes to lay on my chest, coco nuzzles under marcs arms.
 
i didnt think they would take to us so soon,, oh and they like my cherries..
 
oh my god,, chanel has started the popcorning...shes hilarious,, it must be the fur lined bedroom she has,, she must be happy..lol
