Hi all,
I was just showing my guinea pigs to my auntie, and she was holding one rexy. She then pointed out a lump and asked me to feel it. I could feel it once, but it was very tiny. Then I panicked and tried to find it again and I couldn’t! So then I asked my auntie if she could point it out again, and she tried to, but then said it has disappeared. Any ideas what this is and should I be worried?

If it's in his tummy it could possibly be a third nipple or the belly button. Would help if you could describe where it was as this would confirm or eliminate.

It was lower back, between his back and stomach I think. But I can’t feel it anymore so I am very confused!

Her nipple was every so slightly crusty when I checked her over. It was black crust that just fell off though! She seems absolutely fine, nothing out of the normal. She has a bit of an ongoing problem with sludge but I’ve got it under control, I syringe her water and lay of calcium foods when she has flare ups. She has passed sludge and got better many times. Vet thinks it might be cystitis? She has a little bit of dandruff, but you can’t see it unless you look very close. She’s had it ever since I adopted her. She’s very happy and active, and very vocal!
