Hi,
I recently adopted a rescue piggie to keep my gir Treacle company after her companion died in February.
They get on great and Treacle has really perked up with her new friend however, since rehoming Savannah, I've noticed a massive difference in how wet the cage gets.
I only use newpaper to line the bottom and shred it to make bedding and then give them tonnes of hay. When I had Treacle and Toffee, the cage was never this wet but now, I literally need to replace the whole paper and hay base every day as opposed to every second or 3rd day.
I was wondering if it's part of some territorial behaviour brought on by introducing them in Treacles cage?
Any ideas?
