Hi, I used to following alternative to Vetbed ...

That's was the listing title on E-bay and it cost me £22 on buy-it-now. The seller was ...

She's a regular seller so I'm sure you'll still find stuff being listed.
I had bought original Vet Bed when one of my piggies was convalescing and this stuff compares very favourably but at a much reduced cost. It has had numerous washes, and while a fair amount of fluff came off to begin with (initially you might have to wipe out your door seal afterwards if you don't want the following wash covered in fluff

) it has maintained it's depth/density of pile really well. It also comes in a really good range of colours - I went for dark green which looks nice.
The seller was great, really helpful. The only problem I had was with the delivery carrier - even though I phoned them and told them to leave it in the shed, which they agreed too, they kept taking it back to the depot mallethead. It turns out they'll only leave it somewhere if the sender tells them to. The seller sorted it all out for me so I got it eventually. Just make sure you let her know at the time of ordering if you're not going to be in to take delivery and where they can leave it.
Overall I'd recommend fleece bedding, I'm sure you'll be happy with whichever one you go for.
Regards, Linden
