I put down a layer of towels and then vet bed four hours ago and the vet bed is so wet already! I thought it was meant to keep piggies dryer then fleece. I sat on it and it soaked through my clothes! Is this meant to happen?

I dont get a problem as vet bed was made to 'drain' away liquid, the way it is made, it takes away the moisure from the top fibres to the soak-away, in your case towels.

Has your vetbed been washed (without conditioner) several times before use?

Thanks. I thought as it was for vets it would come ready made. I better take it out the cage now!

Have you got proper vet bed...?
Any vet bed that doesn't have a green or yellow back... Or has paw prints on isn't proper vetbed and is rubbish in comparison... :)
And as previously said it needs to be washed a couple times first... :)
