I live in Scampton village, famous for the Dambust
I was wondering how hot you can wash vet bed at?
It's just that one of my girls has parasites :( Despite bathing her regularly with lice and easy and cleaning out and changing vet bed every day, don't know why she is having these problems. I usually wash at 40 degrees - I wonder whether this is hot enough to kill off anything that may be living in the vet bed?

Do you have the Vetbed Original? The original can be washed at 90 degrees.

I have washed other Vetbed versions at 60 degrees with no problems. :)

You need to be sure it's Petlife Vetbed to wash it at 90 degrees. I did some research into this last year, and it's the only one whose backing can withstand it.

i always wash mine on 60 as i have quite a bit of bedding to wash and the 90 degrees on our machine takes nearly 3 hours to wash!

I also wash mine on 60 degrees. hopefully that should be hot enough to kill any parasites!

I would have thought 60 degrees will kill any parasites off too. House dustmites are killed on bedlinen at 60 degrees. Failing that if you are still worried after you have washed it, pack it in a binliner and freeze in a chest freezer, if you have one of those.
