I used vetbed for awhile, I had some Non-Slip backing and some with the green back and they were both so bulky in the washing machine. I really liked it and thought it stayed dry better than regular fleece, but I was afraid it was going to ruin my washer. I ended up going back to regular fleece and I donated the vetbed to the animal shelter. Anyway, I have read online about vetbed with no backing but I can only find it in Australia and they don’t ship to the US (I’m sure it would cost a fortune). Does anyone use vet bed with no backing or know where else I could look to get it? My other vetbed came from the UK and the shipping wasn’t too bad.

I've not heard of it with no backing, sounds interesting.
I have both the non slip and green back and have found the older it gets the more pliable and easier to wash it is. Although it is still much bulkier than ordinary fleece liners which I use as the main bedding in my two biggest cages purely because it's easier to wash.

Hmm I’m not sure it can even be backless? Because of the way it’s woven wouldn’t it just fall to bits? I can’t imagine it would be very good if the back was flimsy? I’ve never heard of it either, I have green backed as well as the rubber ones and they both seem to work well! After a few washes they’re more pliable than my fleece liners, though obviously you need an absorbent layer hence why I still use fleece :)

It still has a woven backing, just no extra non slip or green backing. I read that it is much more flexible and easier to wash.
