This may come across as a silly question but..........having now to use vet bed for two of my pigs. How do people keep it free from grass seeds and such like? Is there a method? something simple I have just missed? Or will I be a slave to brushing prior to washing and brushing again once dry?

Hi, here's a link to a similar thread.

when taking the 'vetbed' out give it a gentle scrape with a bit of cardboard. After it's been washed and you use a brush like the one mentioned, just do a gentle top brush, no need for a deep brush. There will be some fibres in the brush but I've found that it hasn't thinned out the bedding at all. The brushing will give the bedding a nice 'smooth' finish that will stop most seeds and poos getting lost in an otherwise 'clumpy' bedding.
