It's not one I've seen before but it looks good. Timothy hay as the main ingredient. High in fibre, low in calcium. I'll add it to the comparison chart on my next update :)

I hadn't seen it before either until I was browsing tonight for things that could help my bladder girls, I've ordered a box of it to check it out myself, it'd be nice to hear reviews from people that have experience with this food, I agree the ingredients look really good!

I once bought a box for my piggies - as far as I remember, they reacted initially with enthusiasm, then quickly refused to eat any more. It seems to me that the healthier a dried food seems, the less they like it!

The piggies at TEAS eat all sorts. Burgess, Harringtons, Science Selective. However, they mainly eat a hay and grass diet with a small selection of veg, once a day. Nuggets are fed more as a treat than a main part of their diet. I've always fed in this way and in 20 years of guinea pig ownership have never had a guinea pig with a bladder stone.

When I fed these as treats, they ate them. But when I started to add them into their daily food then they stopped eating them. I still add them now as I have some left over, and the only food they hate more is Bunny.

Certainly makes sense that they don't want the foods that are good for them and prefer the other ones! :))

If you want to try some of the Bunny ones @CavyConnoisseur give me a shout. I'll happily pop some in the post.

My boys hate them. I laugh every morning, as they normally just ignore food they don't like, such as the Vet Care ones, but they go out of their way to take the Bunny ones out of their dish and put them next to it. Having them touch their beloved Harringtons is obviously spoiling the taste or something.

I got some for Toast due to all her bladder issues and what not, she loved it but it made her so bloated so had to stop giving it.

My 8 girls tried them this morning, after reading comments I wasn't expecting them to like them, but it turns out they do! I won't be switching from Oxbow for these though, but as a supplementary feed I think they could work well. My 3 girls are more into them than my 5 girls, but all piggies were open minded and gave them a good go, some like them more than others, I've already had to put some more in, one girl is a big chewer and I think she enjoys the consistency and ripping the sticks apart. I'm just glad they gave them a try at least even if they weren't everyone's favourite. 6 out of 8 pigs approve :))

My vet recommended them to me 3 years ago for Bumble and his stone issues - I had never heard of them before that - none of mine really liked them though - they wouldn't eat them when I was around, but they had all gone in the morning.
