Vet check and first cuddles!

Took the girls to the vet today for their "new pet check" which they passed with flying colours. And they're definitely all girls!

While we had them out of their hutch we thought we'd try a little cuddle.

Toffee (in the picture with my daughter) was quite ok with it and sat on her lap for quite a while.
Truffles was quite content to sit on my legs for a while too before suddenly going off to explore! But not before she wee'd on my shorts!
Davina wasn't so keen although she was ok once we managed to pick her up. But we respected her wishes and put her back sooner than the others.

I've had a very emotional few weeks (Mum passed away) and the picture below actually made me cry!

Sorry about your mum. I lost my father last year and It still hits me at odd moments. Part of us thinks our parents will live forever even though we know they won’t.
It still hurts and takes time to grieve
 
Having your Mum pass away is the worst moment of your entire life! I know what you are going through. My Mum died suddenly while I was on a cruise celebrating my 50th birthday 2 and a half years ago. I'd only seen her the week before (on her birthday) and we'd had a lovely day clothes shopping! Your children and your piggies will help you through the quagmire of grief. That is a lovely photo of your daughter holding Toffee.
 
Beautiful photo. Sorry to hear about your Mum, losing a parent is so hard. The grief will come and go for quite a while, allow yourself time, one day you will look back and smile over the good times and the pain will feel lighter. Your Mum lives on in you and your lovely daughter.
 
Toffee is absolutely beautiful and so is your daughter. So sorrh to hear about your mum. Sending lots and lots of big hugs from me and the pigs x
