thanks everyone
sorry for the late update
Hurleys leg is all healed, Richard said that as the brake was overlapped only slightly and it has healed this way and he may walk with a limp but we have not noticed it, he also said that he has seen piggies with brakes that heal this way then in a years time they have managed to heal straight, so you never know
i didnt even get charged a second consult fee as they said that its no charge as it was a follow up consult
am so glad once again that i took him here as the previous vet wanted to take off the leg as that was the only option they said!
you know when you have a good vet when they seem so much more concerned for the animal than what they can make out of you
Hurley has to be on his own part of the cage still for a further 4 weeks so his leg will be stronger, then we can take out the partition so he has the full cage with his brother but will bathe them and fully clean the cage first, just so happy that its ok and he didnt have to have surgery of any kind, hes also eating much better and has put on 209g in 6 weeks, but hes not fat still only 16g, hes always been a small pig but now starting to look more like his brothers size wise
