hello,

i took all my piggies to the vets last night for their annual check ups. the vet clipped the hard skin off Rita and Teddy's paws. she only charged me £14 for that and a check up for 5 guineas!

she checked them all over and she said they are all lovely and Currant's coat is lovely and glossy x)

she weighed them all and put it down on their notes so that if there is a problem later on they can see what their weight is like when they are healthy.

Muffin is the perfect weight for his size! and she told me to keep an eye on Pickle as she is overweight! if anything i thought that Currant was overweight! i never see Pickle eating as much as the others but i guess she must be doing it in secret! :)p

can you put guinea pigs on a diet?! i have three girls that live together. i don't remember their weights as i didn't write it down but the vet was very shocked when she looked at the scales!

thanks Cat :)

You get big guinea pigs but only very occasionally do you get overweight pigs.
I would not put them on a diet.
We shall now have questions about their diet!
