Hi,

Has anyone used Ashleigh Veterinary Centre or Cheshire Pet vets for neutering their guinea pig?
Or an alternative vet that they have used for this?
In/around/near Manchester please.

Note: this is neutering in order to open up the opportunities for friends for 2 single boars that don't like each other. looking around and research at the minute.

we use ashleigh vets and highly recommend them. they're the best in this area and alot of us travel to go there. we're not too far really and do 40mins each way, but i know other people travel even further. it's well worth it to see the best. :) we mainly see aidan aftery but there are two other exotics vets there aswell as him. aidan is amazing though.

the vet you want to see at cheshire pets is molly varga. she's well known also for being a fantastic exotics vet. she used to work at ashleigh vets aswell years back.

so i'd recommend both :)

Awesome. Well they are already registered at Cheshire Pets I believe (will confirm with other half later has he did it for their check up). We'd obviously want the best at dealing with guineas for this kind of op.

Molly at Cheshire pet has neutered three of my boys, one of which had respiratory issues who I was very worried about going under GA but I trust Molly implicitly. She is fantastic. It cost about the 70 quid mark, with meds and post op appointment included.
