Vet in North London (near Hendon)

Hi all

I've checked the recommended vets threads/stickies and can't seem to locate a vet in North London who knows about guinea pigs. Can anyone tell me of any they know of that are good? I'm in Hendon area but would travel if necessary, however I don't have a car so the closer the better rather than have to take Nibbler on a train which would be quite loud for her.

Our little one is ill with a URI and is sneezing a lot, we took her to the medivet nearby and they gave her an injection and we have antibiotics to give her twice daily for 5 days. However I would feel better taking her to a specialist vet because I've heard this sort of thing can turn fatal very quickly.

Anyone got any recommendations? x
 
Hello, I'm a veterinary nurse near Hendon. The best i can suggest are the following:

Wendover heights - a very good clinic for all exotics incuding piggies, the clinic is in Aylesbury tho so a while away but i think theres a train there.

Vets and Pets (Broxbourne) - they have a rodentologist here who does guinea pig clinics, very good with them.

Theres also a few good practices, not specialised in piggies but very good with them if you want a couple more. One i know of in Barnet and the other in Watford.
