Yeah it was a similar kind of plan to cats and dogs, although they don't need worm treatment etc, I guessc I was looking for perhaps dental or mites when required. Alas... But putting money away month may be the best. I looked at exotic pet plan, but they quoted £25 a month for 2 piggies. If so then I have never seen a vet offer a plan like this for piggies as they don't need any regular vaccinations and neither do they need worming or flea treatment.
There is one company that offers pet insurance though and that is exotics direct. For each medical condition you would pay an excess (£60 last time I checked) and then anything over that would be covered on your insurance. You need to be aware as well that they are unlikely to cover pre-existing conditions and I seem to recall someone saying they didn't cover dental problems though I don't know if that's still the case
