Does anyone know what sort of qualifications you need to be a vet.
I have untill 12th December to put my A-Level choices in, I'm going to do a "twilight" animal care course, and Biology for sure :)
Anything to do with Uni's etc. would be great too ! :))

Hi,

chemistry and Biology would be a must I would think, and maths would help you also:)

Then you would have to go on and do a 5 year degree at a veterinary college, lots of info on this site

Take a look at the university prospectuses. The relevant ones are London ( Royal Veterinary College), Bristol, Nottingham, Liverpool, Edinburgh, Glasgow and Cambridge. Last time I looked you needed 3 A levels grade A-A-B out of Maths, chemistry, biology and physics and one of the A's had to be maths, but may have changed since then.

Three sciences. They generally look for chemistry, biology and maths or physics. They all look for different things, so look up the individual university requirements online. Some look for an AS level in addition.

You will have a choice of Bristol, RVC (London), Nottingham, Liverpool, Cambridge, Glasgow, or Edinburgh.

It's important to look at the individual university requirements, as they will have other requirements like minimal work experience requirements and stuff.

It's been a while since I applied, which was pre-A* grade, so I don't know what they all look for individually now.
