I finally got time to take the girls for a general check up, and used Anderson veterinary practice. The boys are registered with Putlands but it’s a bit of a trek - mainly 40mph+ roads and even then it takes about 25mins.

Anyway, the (male) vet we saw was really lovely. He weighed them then listened to their heart (and stomach I assume), palpated their tummies, looked at their eyes and checked their mouths! I’m not sure what I expected but he was very thorough. He talked to me about making sure they have a varied veg diet, and pellets so they’re not picky! He mentioned teeth problems - spurs - and what to look out for.

Then said they don’t routinely spay girlies unless they’ve had repeated uti’s, and something else. Just mentioned but said it’s nothing to be worried about. He was happy with everything, and they were given a clean bill of health.

I really liked his thoroughness and making sure I feed them well. Anyway, sorry that’s so long. Just thought I’d say I really liked them and will be moving my boys there as well. If you’ve gotten to the end well done 😁🤭

PA cost was £35 for the two.

There was a thread where someone mentioned them, but when I last checked they hadn’t been added. Thanks for tagging him.
