vetbed/profleece

Hi all,
Sorry to be a bit thick here!
What's the difference between profleece and vetbed?
Is pfofleece a fleece product with a flattened out 'weave' that hay can get stuck in? Is vetbed more like shag pile carpet?
I imagine that vetbed would be easier to get hay and hair off, as if it was 'shagpile' like, you could brush it.

Any advice would be gratefully received. My DH is getting very fed up of us all walking shavings into the house!

Yeah vetbed is quite like 'shagpile' and Profleece (i've been told), is thinner than vetbed and is more used for warmth.
