I need to take our new guinea pig to the vets for a check up and am looking for recommendations.

We live in Stretford and don't drive.

I'm finding Ashleigh Vets in Whalley Range/Chorlton highly recommended online but there is also a much closer one at Davyhulme Circle/Urmston called Trafford Veterinary Centre.

Does anyone have experience of either? Ideally I'd like to use the closer one as it's only one bus journey, but of course no point going if it's going to be a waste of time and money.

Thanks

I hear good things about the one in urmston, but my friend who lives there only has dogs and rabbits. It could be worth calling them to see if the vets have experience with guinea pigs first.
