Can I have lodes of vibes for Alfie please... :(
Just got back from dropping him off at the emergency vets... He's been bleeding from his penis...
For some reason I felt the urge to go and check on the pigs about 11pm... And I found alot of blood in Archie and Alfies hutch... :...
I quickly realised it was coming from Alfie and as I checked his bits it's started bleeding heavily... There are no cuts or injuries to his penis so the logical though is that it's internal... The vet thinks it may be bladder stones but he's showed no other signs that he has that... So it's a bit of a mystery... I'll have an up date in the morning... Just hope he's okay...

He's looking bright still this morning...
Vets have realised he's bleeding when he's peeing... It's just an extremely concentrated amount of blood in him... He's going for an x-ray this morning... I will up date once I've head off the vets...

Ment to add...
The vet thinks it could be a really bad UTI... A stone or a bladder tumor... :...
So fingers crossed for him...

And this is when he was activly bleeding and he looked like he lost a fair bit of blood... I had cleaned him up quite well and it just kept coming out in a little flow...

Aw Clare - hope Alfie is ok and the vet can get him sorted :(

Just realised i called him Archie i my earlier post..... sorry Alfie, i have had coffee now and am functioning like a hooman now and not a zomby xx
 
The vets have done an x-ray biut it was inconclusive... They are doing another x-ray under GA and if a stone is present in his bladder then he won't be woken up...
Poor little Alfie... :(

Oh gawd, clarei am so sorry hun!

Come on Alfie, i hope there isn't a stone, but at the same time i do hope they kind kind out what is causing the problem.
