I was going to say perhaps the dosage wasn't high enough but actually 1ml is quite high. Zithromax is an AB which Debbie's (furryfriends) vet has used to great effect but I dont know if it is any good for Urinary tract infections. I know Debbie will happily give you any info she can about it.

Something else I read on the GG site was about Uriflow (you may have tried that before), again just a suggestion-it does sound like some breeds are more prone to Urinary tract problems than others :(

Thanks for that Fi. I have sent Debby a pm regarding Zithromax - I knew she had been prescribed a different ab for one of her gang but couldn't remember the name of it, or what it was given for.

I actually have some Uriflow, which I got in when Tetley originally had bladder stones. My only concern is that all the tests carried out on Smudge indicate that she doesn't have a stone, only an infection which keeps reoccuring. I have emailed Chrissie at GG to see if she or her vet Jenny have any other suggestions for treating on going bladder issues.
