She might be having her spay tomorrow (if our vet advises again against Hormone Injections) so please can you send her some good luck and recovery vibes, I'm so worried about her. Just hope it goes aswell as Gypseys.

Thank you everyone.
She has been dropped off and is going to be spayed today. They said to call them at 2. I'm so nervous :( She isnt as much of a fighter as Gypsey and I'm worried the stress will make her wallow in self pity and not eat. But I am going to go to Pets at Home before the vets and get some of her favourite herbs and some nice hay to make her tempted to keep munching.

Is it okay to use a hot water bottle with cover for them under the fleece? If not I will buy a special animal heat pad...

I'm just shocked at the price of a spay £81, when Gypsey cost about that with blood tests etc (£50 spay roughly)

An animal heat pad would be more ideal, I know hot water bottles can be used but personally I'd prefer knowing that the heatpad is designed with the safety of animals, like guinea pigs, in mind.

Sorry we will be asleep when you call............we all hope it's gone well for Tallulah xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Girls send heaps of wheeeeeeeeeeeky loves xx>>>xx>>>xx>>>xx>>>

Oh my gosh, that price is ridiculous for a little piggy, you would expect that for a dog or cat!

Fingers crossed for your little girl, Hoggle & Ludo send their love. :)

Thinking of Tallulah!

That price is about what you have to pay for a major op like spaying at our vets, too; it's more than neutering, which costs around £50 nowadays.

Good luck tallulah!

Not long until you hear from them now. Please do let us know how it goes wont you?

Yeah she said neuters are now £50, when they used to be £30 something..I cant see how its managed to go up so fast though...it was a few months ago Gypsey had hers, and its shot up for no obvious reason...:o

It was the same when I took Mork and then Orson for neutering - it went up by £15 in 6 weeks and I was told it was because of the VAT rate and then also that at the moment prices are going up every month.
