Vibess for Buddy please...

Buddy goes in to be neutered today. Had to be up early to get him to the vets for 8am, got to make him up a lunch box and give him a big cuddle before he goes in. He's taking his bed made by Little Piggles, as he has become so attached to it, I think it will make him feel more comfy.
I'm so worried, I feel sick to my stomach and think I might cry at any moment! 3pm can't come soon enough (when I can call and collect him, if all goes well)

HUGs. Good luck I'm sure he'll be ok. Please update us later. I hope everything goes well for him. None of mine have been neutered but i remember the night before sexy had an operation I cried all night I looked like i had been in a fight the next day my eyes were that swollen, I was sure something bad would happen, the call that it had gone well was the best call ever! Buddy will be back safe with his mommy later demanding attention and TLC xxxxxxxx
btw hes gorgeous! x)
 
We all send our love to you and Buddy we have had two neuterings done here both with no problems at all. Update us later.

Dropped him off an hour or so ago...there was a springer called Buddy in for neutering too! Hated seeing his little face watching me as he got taken away but I know he's in safe hands. Can call at 2, hope time goes fast! Vet knows what happened with Spud and he was very understanding.
 
LOVE that photo of Buddy! I'm sure the op will go well and Buddy will be recovering nicely on his bed when you pick him up at 3. Good vibes being sent to him from me. Alyson x x
 
Just called and he's fine :) got his indoor cage all set up. Just got a few things to do in the village then I'm picking him up :)
The girls have been very quiet today....I wonder if they know he's not here?
 
I am sure they know!

So good that buddy has made it through! Best of luck with his recovery and a long happy boar life!
 
Hes home! Vet said he was so funny, they put him in a special "sleeping bag" thing while he recovered....apparently as soon as he woke up he ran straight into his bed! (the one made by little piggles) Apparently he's been in it all day! He looks a little dazed at the moment but was pleased to see me :)
 
He's eaten a few of his veggies but doesn't seem very interested. He's also been chattering his teeth :( I guess that's to be expected though, guess he's a bit sore. He's very sleepy too! I'm going out tonight and won't get in till 4 so I'm gonna feel guilty waking him up!
 
Aww, I'm glad all went well for Buddy. Archie was very sleepy after he got neutered, but he was grateful when I gave him some nice grass and cabbage to munch on. Then he ended up falling asleep in his food bowl :)). I hope Buddy picks up soon. I'm sure he'll be fine :)

Oh only a few weeks to wait and he will have ladies!
 
Really pleased to hear Buddy is doing well. He's probably just a bit sore and grumpy.....you know what guys are like when they are ill! Male guinea pigs are probably the same. He'll just need lots of TLC from his mummy over the next few days.

Haha, it's because the singer Example came to our Oceana so we went to see him :) Just got in, Buddy was asleep, woke up and ate some hay, and now he seems to be settling down :)
Now just to get this ringing out of my ears!

All seems well but he has a stitch hanging out "down there", so have booked an appointment at the vets just to check it out -don't want him pulling at it. He is the happiest I have seen him in months - popcorning everywhere!
 
Awwww bless him! Lovely little Buddy - he's a sweetie! I am sure that stitch is fine bu,t as you say, best to get it checked before he pulls it!

Hope to see him in the flesh soon!
