hello,

I read that the vibrating noise is a dominance thing....our boys make it at each other frequently but don't try to harm one another.....is this okay or problematic?

It depends if its a vibrating or a rumbling - a rumbling is dominance, boys can make it towards other boys and boys can rumble at girls where it is dominace / amourous behaviour (and a girl can rumble at a girl when she is in season ) - a boy rumbling at another boy doesn't necessarily mean it will turn into an argument or a piggy punch up though - sort of just strutting about - when piggies vibrate it is usually sharper and shorter than the rumbling (they usually sway their hips when they rumble strut ) the vibrating sound is usually made in response to puzzlement to a strange or disliked sound (mine used to do it when the phone rang when they were small) - or if they don't like something - (like being touched or stroked - sometimes through fear - especially when they are young and getting to know you)
