Hi guys,
A mixed-emotions first post here - a fortnight ago, my wife and I lost Torchy, one of the two guinea pigs we'd had since May 2011. We'd suspected that she'd been unwell for a while, but her final 24 hours were stressful, having caught flies laying eggs on her, to giving her a thorough wash and treatment, to her passing away suddenly in the evening in front of us.
The next day we got two young 'uns - Storm (brown one) and Jo (vaguely camoflague) - and after a fortnight's quarantine, we've introduced them to our surviving piggy, Daphne (aka "Panda Piggy").
We introduced them on neutral ground in the kitchen, and this is their first five minutes. Since then they've gotten noisier (and nosier) but there's been nothing of concern, unless the more trained eyes of this forum can spot anything?
