So far Gus has been a little rough on patch. He Dosent hurt him but his dominance tactics are a bit overboard. He charges at patch and patch is petrified of him doing that so he's hiding in his pigloo a lot. Gus likes to mount him charge him
And chase him so when patch retreats into the pigloo Gus follows and the patch really freaks out. Gus behaves himself in the playpen but in thier house he goes a little nutty with the behavior. I feel bad for patch because he isn't challenging Gus....but Gus has to be macho. Leaving them to settle it but got to admit it makes me nervous

I have no experience with bonding unfortuantely, it may be worth starting a thread in piggie chat, hopefully someone with experience may be able to advise and put your mind at rest
 
Patch is so cute! Wonderful how you coaxed him with that carrot. Gus is great too the way he climbs up those bars. It can be hard worrying over boars bonding behaviour but apparently it is all normal for them.
 
Well I worry over nothing at times. Patch seems a tad more relaxed today...so maybe it was just a bumpy start ....crossing my finger n toes:)

If you're having issues with Gus following Patch into the pigloo, try cutting a largish cardboard box to size with two openings so that Patch can zip out if he gets concerned :)
