Heyoo,

Sorry i cant at all seem to reply to my percy-roo thread. :( I have a couple of videos of Percy-Roo and his poorlyness the sound quality isnt that great and you have to turn it up to hear his huh huh -ing.

Do you think that the rattle will improve soon?

love laura x

Oh bless him :( Poor little fella. Love and healing vibes to you and Percy xx

For some bizarre reason i can post anywhere on the forum just not my roo thread. How odd. The vet told me to wait as it'll take time but i just want a magic wand to make him better now. :)

Oh love, if i had a magic wand i would send it to you! I dont know what to suggest, i haven't read through the whole other thread as i kept getting error messages so i dont know the full story, but i assume he is on CC, he just needs plenty of this for energy to fight it, Big hugs xx

Thank you hun! Its awful just watching him, I'm meant to be studying this week for an exam and instead I'm just watching and willing him on!

Thank you for the huggles, ill keep you update on the little man x

Oh bless you, i wish i could help some how! Is tabitha with him? She might help spur him on! xx

Tabitha! Tabitha is as useful as a chocolate fireguard.....first of all she hops onto his cosie plonk (with percry-roo inside) not helpful if your friend is struggling to breathe....then when i put cc in a bowl for him (which he was nibbling) tabitha shoved him out of the way and plonked herself in the bowl....so a quick butt wash was in order.......on the evening i put a doggy head pad under the beach hut so he could keep warm if he wanted to and tabby claimed that as her pad.

Honestly shes not a very good wife pig! :))

Not a very good bed side manor then? :)) Bless her, its probably her way of showing the love, our girls were brilliant when Lilly was poorly, even Minnie the top pig, she let him sleep in her cosey (that is a BIG deal, no one is allowed near it usually) and they all kept cleaning him and laying with him to keep him warm, my pigs never usually lay together, sorry to hear tabitha isn't the same. xx

I have no idea if asthma in piggies is like that in humans. I'm asthmatic but mine is more with coughing and chest infections. Steam really helps me, and keeping a bowl of water on top of any radiators to stop the air being too dry. Poor Percy Roo :( I have a sick piggy too so am with you in worry :...

Hee hee, she's a princess pig :))

I hope that Percy improves soon! Has your vet checked his heart and tried diuretics/heart meds?

Tabitha's behaviour is not uncommon - she is the top piggy and wants to show that now that Percy is rather a liability to her herd.

Aww poor little man. I am just so sorry to hear how poorly he is doing. I really hope he recovers soon.

Sorry, I deleted my post as didn't realise your guinea had fluid on his lungs, and not sure that my suggestion would have been appropriate..xx
