My pig dot has gone off all bell peppers.
Is there any other vit c veg i can feed daily?

This is reasuring. Burnie on the other hand takes the red pepper first and popcorns for itMine won't accept the same veggies daily, they soon start leaving it. Try again in a few days and they will probably love it! They should get enough vit c from veggies regardless of whether they have the highest green pepper provider or not
Just a quick question, have you bought a different brand/bought from a different shop at all? I’m convinced my piggies will only eat certain types of veg from certain shops. Very picky piggies. My pig dot has gone off all bell peppers.

I do get kale every week but only feed it twice a week. End up wasting loads lolKale is high in vit c but can’t be given daily. You could try that in between the next attempt with bell peppers. Broccoli has some too (mine tend to eat the stalks rather than flower heads).
Yea i have. Sainburys instead of tesco. Have to be careful with sainsburys. It might be that. My 2 love kale from Aldi won’t touch Asda’s kale. It’s bizzare. And peppers- you have to buy the top quality ones not the cheaper multi-buy bags of 5 they don’t eat them. Tesco actually do a ‘gourmet kale’ now, it’s a mix of red and green kale for £1.50. I got some as a Christmas present for them last year and they never touched itYea i have. The body jolting, like hiccups = popcorning = they love corn husk very much!Ive just gone and got morrisons bell peppers to try them, i never buy the multipack ones. I have seen gourmet kale, i will try them on that soon. Have you ever got the carrots with the greens still on? £1.50 a bunch in tesco. My pigs inhale the green. But i do think they are high in calcium. I tried corn in the husk last week, they loved it. But started body jolting after it, like hiccups. I think it was the wirey hairy bits not going down too well
No it wasnt popcorning. This was definitly hiccups type movement. It was scary like they were choking. But its happened to all of my pigs before, they recover after about 20 secondsThe body jolting, like hiccups = popcorning = they love corn husk very much!
By all means try the gourmet kale but mine weren’t keen at all. I have bought the carrots with the leaves on once before, the only problem is (from the shop bought ones) you need to wash them and once these leaves are wet they don’t last long, also they come with a lot of leaves and you can’t give all those in one sitting I don’t think? Not sure on the calcium levels, but if you wash them and give them to them wet this kind of strikes it out as they are getting fluid whilst eating the leaves and your diluting the calcium (if there is any).
Oh gosh, my little one when he popcorns he jolts his body it starts from his head and his big ears flap from side to sideNo it wasnt popcorning. This was definitly hiccups type movement. i think its something getting stuck in their throats. But they wernt choking. WeirdOh gosh, my little one when he popcorns he jolts his body it starts from his head and his big ears flap from side to sidehe also makes a hiccuping sound from time to time when he popcorns that’s why I thought it was popcorning. See if you can upload a video of this so others can see what you mean maybe? I’m stumped.
