No problem :) guinealynx.com has a detailed description of the signs of scurvy, and vitamin C requirements, might be worth looking at if you're concerned :)

Ill take a look. No signs of scurvy. I was usuing drops in water as store sugg...but recently learned on here that Isnt suffient. Found some chewable vit c tabs that by boys happily munch on out of my hand..also serves as a tooth wearer I think...lol. But I was breaking it in half and giving each on half...its good to know only a day or so of overdoing it likely didnt hurt them....but so glad to know not to continue that much. :)

Providing you feed a good quality dry food and veggies naturally rich in Vit C you won't need to substitute with chewable blocks.

Veggies good for vit c off the top f my head:

Broccoli and the stalk cut into small chunks
Sprouts
Deseeding peppers of any colour
Cabbage
Orange - in small doses

If i think of any others i will update.

I give them all of those n more...but just makes me.feel better to give them the tabs...smores dosent like the peppers n brocolii as much and too mu ch cabb isnt good...so I just want to be sure they get what they need. But I will only give them the lowest amount tab wise. Thank you tho...its good to know ive got them a good healthy diet going. My husband jokes they eat better than we do....lol
