Flamestriker
Adult Guinea Pig
i have just bought a Vita Munch from the farm where I get the hay for the piggies. Unfortunately it is out of date by 2 years! (Best before 31/10/2015)
The Vita Munch is the heavenly healthy hedgerow one, with cleavers, hawthorn and rose hip. I have never seen these things before
As it is dry, would it harm the piggies to feed it? The packet is sealed and there are no holes. It doesn't look green at all. As it cost me £3, it isn't worth it to take it back, as it would cost me more in petrol. I'm happy to throw it out.
Would the piggies care? The vitamins in it are gone, but it is mostly Timothy hay. And for 8 piggies, it is a 1 kg brick that would take them some time to gnaw through.
Any ideas?
