I bought the boys in last night due to the weather warnings. I have managed to watch them eating now which i'm happy about (not titbits but their full meals) and noticed what they eat:

Bobby: all the lettuce (romaine first lol) and usually a bit of cress or other types of lettuce. He will also eat a bit of their dry food.
Frankie: eats as much mix as he can and turns his nose up at veg. I've tried romaine, carrot, rocket, cress, spinach, pepper, tomato (i know not too often), corn, cucumber. When he came he loved carrot but he's started turning his nose up at it.

Do i need to get vitamin powder for Frankie as i'm not certain he's getting his vitamins or shall i try feeding veg in the morning and mix at night or vise versa so he has to eat due to hunger.

They're both really light and shouldn't have been rehomed (which i didn't realise until i got them mallethead) Frankie is around 226g and Bobby is 231g although they do seem healthy - i can't feel ribs or anything

Thanks :)

There is vitamin C in good pellets (in mix, piggies quite often leave the vitamin bits); you might think about introducing good quality pellets as a bowl of mushy slop for them to nibble on; perhaps once a day?

Please persevere with the veg; it takes time for piggies who have never seen any to accept them and it is very hit and miss at first. Have you tried fresh herbs like parsley and coriander? They don't need to eat a lot if those to cover their vitamin C intake. Coriander contains less, but can be fed daily.

Your boys are very small indeed! That is the average weight of a well cared for 2-3 week old piggy. Just keep them on a good diet and be patient - they won't be fully grown until they are 15 months old. Weigh them weekly to monitor their health (as you should do with all piggies throughout their lives).

You could try to get them to lick a tiny bit of ribena from a spoon. Don't syringe your tiny tots - at that age it can kill if something ends up in the lungs. Generally, piggies don't like the taste of vitamin C, so sprinkling it on veg or add it to the water will only make things even less attractive. Generally, I would not worry too badly; your little will come round and he is getting some vitamin C from other sources than his veg.

Thank you :D
I'll try sprinkling some herbs on it tonight. He loved carrots when he first arrived and his old owner also said that. They came on P@H nuggets and they're halfway through be transferred onto Wagg which Frankie especially loves and polishes everything, if they get fussy i will be looking towards Oxbow or Excel (excel different flavours is pulling me in a little lol).
I noticed them squabbling a little over the bowls so i split it into portions and they just switched bowls when the other was done rolleyes
