I think I used to buy a bag of this years ago from the local Tesco supermarket for my piggies and I'm sure they loved it - not seen it since but just found a 15kg bag online for £16.99 although postage is about £3.95rolleyes Anybody else buy it or is it a rubbish food like Gerty guinea pig?:{

Mine used to have this and loved it. But now they like Tesco purple bag.

Just found it for £8.49 a 15kg bag but postage is over £6 and then there is vat so it comes to just under £16 altogether which I suppose is cheaper than the other place.:{

My piggies have this and if I'm being honest, they do selectively eat. I stay with it though because they wont eat pellets at all.

Have you tried any of your local pet superstores?
I am sure that I saw a 15kg of this for £9.49 at Jollyes in Bristol.

I am trying to convert my piggies from eating Gertie ... after the bad reviews I have recently read ... to pellets but not having much luck.
They seem ok with Wagg and Tesco's purple bag as that is why I was comparing prices. Gertie for 15kg is now priced at £19.99! rolleyes

My piggies tend to eat selectively too, and I have had a tough time trying to switch them to any kind of pellet that they would actually eat. But then I tried the Wagg Optimum pellets, and they all LOVE them! They seem to be doing really well on them, too. The only trouble is, again, the only place I can find them locally is Jollyes, and they only have the small bags.:(

I feed my mob of 8 this and they love it. I get it by the sack from Jolleys and it is £9.45 for about 15kg :)

That sounds a LOT more economical than the Wagg Premium ! It costs me about £4.00 for 2 kgs (possibly 2.5 kgs) ! :( Perhaps I will buy a small bag of the Crunch next week to mix in with their pellets and see what happens!

I pay about £10 for a 15kg sack, mine love it but do leave the green bits sometimes. I have to go with a more economical food as I can't afford to buy pellets all the time, I do believe wagg are better than gerty though :)

I don't think it has artificial colours in it? My piggies are doing well on it anyway.

I am definately going to check it out when I go to Jollyes tomorrow! :)

My piggie have this too - they arent keen on just pellets, but the both seem to like this :)

i think my guinea pig has had this before, i brought it from Jollye's a pet store near me. But she didn't really eat it. So it's now left lol i dunno what to do with the bag lol. I had to get her normal Pets At Home museli then.

Scatter the bag in a flower pot water well and in next to no time lush yummy grass grows which the piggies adore :)

mine love this food my lilly eats the whole lot

i get a a big bag from my loacl pet shop and its £10.99

My girls have this and they love it. You can buy it from Sainsburys, Asda, Morrisons and Wilkinsons for around £2 - £3 for a 2kg bag. It's slightly more expensive than Gerty but much better. My gerbils and hamster have the wagg hamster, gerbil and mouse munch too and love it :)

I give my piggy Gerty What's bad about it and what should I give him?

I buy this from Asda and the guinea pigs like it, but not as much as the Tesco one. They do seem to leave the little brown bits whereas they always eat everything in the Tesco one.

I got a large bag of guinea pig crunch from the pet shop but I can't say any of them are too keen on it - won't be getting another. It doesn't seem the same as the food I used to get from Tesco a few years ago, there seemed more bits in it then.rolleyes

I'm sure I saw this food in Wilkinsons Alos known as Wilkos) yesterday & its not very expensive I think they have an online store aswell

My piggies used to have this but swapped them over as they selective fed to much they are now on scratch and newtons posh nosh for guineas pellets and are much better also dont have as much waste.
