The girls are on selective science and it's becoming more difficult to find.

I am reluctant to switch to a muesli type food after reading up about it.

However, I bought a small bag of Wagg and for the first time ever the piggies ate out of my hand and scoft the lot in my hand.

Would you recommend keeping them on the pellets? If so can you recommend and easily available food that is reasonably priced?

Thank you

All foods are easily available online. Pet meds do 10kg of Supreme science selective for £20

Burgess excel and Harringtons (Wagg) optimum are available in pet shops and are both great or pet meds does them for £17 per 10kg or £13 per 10kg respectively. Even buying small bags from the pet shop they are cheaper than supreme

I hand feed some muesli to my pigs as "treats" as its a hell of a lot healthier than some of these total junk treats that are fed to piggies. My 3 girls lived for 4 years on wagg muesli and are totally healthy so as treats I think its a nice option.

Have you tried any local vets for science selective?
I Have changed mine over to SS from Wagg, but i must admit they do prefer the Wagg and I have heard of pigs getting the SS kibble stuck around teeth due to their shape.

Mine have always eaten Wagg guinea crunch and have been fine on it, they eat every scrap. No selective feeding here!
I've also never paid full price for a bag, you can usually find it on offer somewhere.

My gang love Waggs guinea crunch, I've even caught Betty bun having a sly munch when the piggies have got their backs turned. :)) :)) :))
