Hi!
We feed our 3 male guinea pigs a diet of Burgess nuggets, hay, fresh food and, until recently, Wagg guinea pig crunch as an extra to stop them getting bored. Obviously they have access to fresh drinking water too all the time.
Since Wagg has become a nugget only brand, our old timer, Munchie (5.5 years) has lost weight. We found a pet a shop which sold bags of the old muesli formula and since having access to a small ramekin during the day he's put back on 10g.
Now before anyone says anything, all 3 eat the Burgess nuggets quite happily so we know they were getting the correct nutrients etc. We have multiple feeding bowls to ensure there aren't any arguments over food and they didn't have the Wagg all the time.
Has anyone else come across this problem and if Wagg don't bring back the muesli mix, can anyone recommend another one to try just for a change and to keep Munchie happy!

Also looking for a replacement to Wagg Crunch for the same sort of reasons.

gerty guinea pig mix and allen and page do a good mix.it is strange because non of mine will eat a museli, only pellets.so i am pleased wagg do an all in one pellet ! also some on line still have the wagg crunch museli as have not sold all there old stock .

I second Gerty guinea pig mix when wagg decided to get rid of the muesli like mix our piggies rejected the nuggets we even tried transitioning them with half normal half nuggets but they kept leaving the nuggets fussy little things they are lol however they love the Gerty mix and always eat the lot of from UK pets at home sell this and so does Asda around £5 perfect for fussy piggies :P

Mine are not keen on burgess, harringtons or wagg pellets. I tried expensive grain free ones and they dont eat them either. They domlike muesli but only have a teeny bit left that was given to me when I was given my elderly sow, Tani.

Mine don't like muesli at all and love nuggets but my Rainbow piggies Lenny and Gizmo would scoff down the muesli as if they hadn't been fed for a week! When I tried L&G on nuggets they turned their cute little noses up at that and refused to eat it. Funny things piggies!

Gerty, my older rescues came addicted to it! Much the same as wagg. I feed it because my vet has told me in no uncertain terms that my cancer pig needs the higher calories from it and I am not to make her switch to the burgess pellets the babies have.

Mine have mostly Excel nuggets with mint and a little bit of Gertie Guinea Pig muesli mixed in.
I did notice when I tried the nuggets with blackcurrant that they were rejected though.
