Hi!
We feed our 3 male guinea pigs a diet of Burgess nuggets, hay, fresh food and, until recently, Wagg guinea pig crunch as an extra to stop them getting bored. Obviously they have access to fresh drinking water too all the time.
Since Wagg has become a nugget only brand, our old timer, Munchie (5.5 years) has lost weight. We found a pet a shop which sold bags of the old muesli formula and since having access to a small ramekin during the day he's put back on 10g.
Now before anyone says anything, all 3 eat the Burgess nuggets quite happily so we know they were getting the correct nutrients etc. We have multiple feeding bowls to ensure there aren't any arguments over food and they didn't have the Wagg all the time.
Has anyone else come across this problem and if Wagg don't bring back the muesli mix, can anyone recommend another one to try just for a change and to keep Munchie happy!
