As most of you are aware, Connie has been having problems since November. She has discoloured urine and was x rayed for bladder stones which came up clear. 2 weeks ago, she started to pass bloody poops so back to the vet she went where Baytril was prescribed. My vets seem to have came to a dead end as to what is wrong with her :( There is an exotic vet specialist the other side of Manchester and my vet faxed Connies notes off to them. OH Received a voice mail yesterday from my vet saying that she has now spoken to the the specialist and will ring me today to 'discuss' what what said. For some reason, I feel really sick and scared :0

Awww hun, you must be so worried. :( ::hugs:: I will keep all of my fingers VERY firmly crossed that your lovely girl is going to be okay. x

Hey Claire, try not to worry (easy to say!) as it's ultimately out of your control now and you'll drive yourself mad waiting for the call. Why not call them? You've acted quickly on everything and have done everything you should have done. You've also chased up the vets! Keeping my fingers crossed for little Connie, keep me posted on how she is. xxxxx

Oh Claire, I know how anxious you must be. I agree with MissPiggy, if you haven't heard from them by now, why not call them. At least they'll know you are there are waiting to hear. Let us know - I've got all fingers and toes crossed for little Connie.

aw my fingers are crossed for Connie and you. I am hoping she will be ok, try and stay positive, although I know its hard x

Hi Claire, hope everything goes well for you and Connie, it seems to be agees since it all started. Give them a ring yourself after dinner, I think you have worried long enough. Keeping my fingers, toes and legs crossed for you both. Let us know later won't you. x>>

Hope all turns out ok Claire. Keep us posted. One thing to take from it is if it isn't fantastic news at least Connie can get the help she needs. It's the not knowing that is a right pain.

(((hugs)))

x

Hoping the vet has some constructive advice for you any Connie. Keeping everything crossed.

Try not to keep worrying, but I know how you feel. Let us know when you hear about poor Connie, hopefully the specialist will have some answers x

Hugs coming your way and to Connie!

It's the not-knowing which is always the worst and you have done really well getting in touch with a vet who will know more about guinea pigs.

Let's hope you get some expert help who can sort poor little Connie out xx
