16 Mins 23 Seconds and counting. Thought I'd share the length of time we are currently waiting for Cookie and Treacle to poo in their run - so we can make 'Putt' our other piggie some Poo soup to have as she is on antibiotics.

Normally the little ones do nothing but poo but today after feeding they have decided to put the brown stuff on rations mallethead mallethead

I am quite concerned about getting it on my jeans and then later thinking "mmmmm chocolate..!"

Pooh! 20 mis and a few seconds! normally you only wait two seconds, only one so far but we are hoping for more.

Wow, that's a long time to wait for poos! Usually they are constantly pooing!

I hope Putt is feeling better soon! xx x>>

Thanks Willow, typical that we wait so long for a commodity that is normally in abundance! Now we are no longer waiting there is a poo mountain.:(|)

Poo soup made.

Don't know what was more disgusting, making the soup or the fact that Putt loved it and lapped it up like it was parsley!:(|)

Putt knows what is good for her!

Ewwwww! :)>>> :(|)

I had to make poo soup for Willow before when I ran out of probiotic capsules. My boars poo a LOT so I got all the poos from them :)) I felt bad for forcing her to eat boar poo though, she did not like it! :)>>> Thankfully now I have more probiotic, so Woog doesn't need poo soup :))

:)) bless I hope Putt feels better soon, I think the piggies always know when we want something from them and try and withhold it as long as possible

Thank you. Yes, I believe they know more than they let on!

When a piggie is on antibiotics it can upset their gut flora so you need to give them a probiotic to replace the good bacteria. You can buy this in powder form or as our vet advised probiotics are abundant in a healthy guinea pig poo. So tonight we have collected poo from two of our pigs, mushed it up in water and syringed it into our poorly girl. Not pleasant for us but she loved it!:)>>>
