I took my boar Rimmer to be neutered this morning. I am sat twiddling my thumbs waiting for the call to say he has come through it ok. His cage is ready for his return and I have all his favourite veggies in the fridge. I do hope they call me soon my nerves cannot take much more waiting.

Re: Waiting for news from the vet

I know how you feel

Big Hugs - he will be fine

Re: Waiting for news from the vet

He'll be fine - you've just seen Wiggy & Rusty to prove that they're competent vets. Once you get him home you'll be ok. I'll make sure we don't go over any spreed humps on the way home 8)

Re: Waiting for news from the vet

Most vets do the ops in the afternoon so that's perhaps why you've not heard anything, he'll be fine don't worry :) Just remember to keep him warm and comfy later once he's back :)

All went well and Hils and I picked Rimmer up at 3.30pm. He feels sorry for himself though. But in a few weeks time he will be a happy chappy when he can join his two wives. He is tucking into his food like he has never been fed.

Thankyou hils for taking us there and back your a star

Glad all went well - I remember taking my little Rottie puppy to have her 'done' years ago, and was worried to death all afternoon until we got the call. Even though it's all supposed to be 'routine' its always a worry isn't it?

Yes I did worry all day long but it will be worth it now he can have such a happy life with two lady friends :smitten:
