This wee girl is six months old and I'm taking my trio to meet her on Tuesday... Yes, we were hoping for a baby and have been waiting patiently, but the pregnant sow has at least 3 weeks to go and then if she gets a girl we will have to wait another six weeks to get her home (rescue policy). So more than two months...

Today was my last day of work for four weeks so adding onto our tribe right now would be perfect because I will have heaps of time to make it work. It's summer too and they can be outside on the grass :)

So cross your fingers for a smooth introduction on Tuesday :) Hopefully she's young enough to still take the "baby place" in the tribe. They are weird goofballs and have been just three for six months... I'm glad I have the rescue lady helping me with the meeting!
 
Ah! I do hope she fits nicely into the role of baby in the tribe. She is absolutely gorgeous! x). What kind of piggie is she? xx
 
Heh, K.W., I have 31 days of annual leave per year... :)

J. I have no idea what she is, but she is teddyish with longer fur so probably something Swiss in the mix. She's also extremely loud, apparently. When the rescue lady told me I was like "yeah, Martha can wheek pretty loud too" and she went... "eh... I don't think you understand the magnitude of this girl's loudness... she'll make ears bleed!" :))

I don't... Busan kind of means "mischievious girl", which sounds nice, but the name reeeeeeks of "hi I'm eight years old and this is my guinea pig" It's the third most common girl piggy name at the rescue, the most common being Mimmi. If she joins us I will think up a new name unless she already knows her (which is unlikely as she is a classic "left in the cage alone while kids play playstation-pig")

I can't wait either... I've kind of already made up my mind, it would have to be total disaster for me to reconsider :)

She is stunning and does that mean if you are on holidays for 4 weeks we will not get to see as much of you :( very excited about new girl!

I know your feelings - I fell for and had Taffy reserved before she even had her babies; it was a LONG wait of over two months. But it was worth it because she brought her little daughter Telyn with her, the only one in a litter of four! ;)

Gosh, she looks lovely and pretty chilled out. I can't wait to hear how it goes on Tuesday. Bo will love it (no doubt) so I guess the girls will be the final judges! Have you thought of a new name yet? Sancho used to be called Muffin, which I thought was a bit of a kids name too. I had to change it, there was just no way I could expect Floris to take him seriously as a 'man' with a name like Muffin.:))
 
Remember we want lots of pigtures! She's lovely!

I must admit when I first got Winks, I was going to change his name and then I just couldn't do it. He'd been Winks for a year. Every so often I try out the name I had picked out for him: Ferdinand! :P
