This is the only pig forum I belong to. But I was reading at another one and the owner was just plain rude and somewhat mean to some of the new members.

I want to thank all of you for being so nice and kind and welcoming to my daughter and I. I do most of my posting from my phone and get lazy with punctuation :) I have really learned so much here from all of your posts.

Haha see even the title is wrong lol. Want to SAY thanks. Sorry :( And autocorrect is not always my friend, we have a love hate relationship. :D

Glad you like it here :) We try to ensure that the forum is a friendly community and glad you are finding it so. A lot of places on the web are a little flamey (for want of a better word) We try to make the forum as welcoming to members as possible, after all it is members that make a community what it is and hopefully newer members feel at home here and stay :)

Fixed your title by the way. If ever you want a mod or admin to do something like that just 'tag us in' for example @sport_billy sends me an alert to this thread :) Auto correct is a swine at times lol
 
I agree. A very friendly forum... This is the only forum i have ever felt properly welcome by everyone.It dosnt matter if your a long term member...new...admin..etc..you are always spoken to by everyone politely and some very informative and friendly kind people!

And that's why I didn't mind my daughter joining, even though she doesn't post much. She does read a lot here.
 
I love being a member of the forum!

Everyone is just so helpful and kind! I had bunny rabbit heath issues not long ago and posted for help in the heath section because I urgently needed the help! and so many people were happy too help! I love how people are actually happy too help with other animal problems! And the piggies obviously!

I feel sooo welcome too this forum! And have done from the beginning :)

I'm glad too be a part of it! :D
 
I "inherited" my two boys from my daughter in April. Never having piggies before I was desperate for advice and info, this is the first and only forum I belong to, and everyone has been so kind and generous with time spent replying to posts. I am so glad I joined. Eventually I will get round to posting pics.
 
Well if anyone ever has dog or cat questions let me know. I have a degree as a vet tech and use to work in the ICU at the university for small animals here. I know the most about those than any other animal lol. But I'm always learning about knew ones. I think back to when I was in school and the poor pigs that we had there they lived in such small cages like dish pan size, two of them in one. We also had rats and kennels for the cats and dogs. We got to adopt them at the end. I took two of the rats. This was many years ago. I feel bad with all I know about GP now. They were treated well but the cages were so small. Anyway I'm always happy to help if I can.
 
We would just like to reiterate what @sport_billy has said. The forum is a great community which is built on a bunch of like minded people who understand that everyone has to start somewhere and only by interaction with others the forum continues to grow. The friendliness of the forum is at the heart of it, so much so it is very good at self regulating. We for one are very proud to be members of this wonderful forum.
