Junior Guinea Pig
Hi all
My guinea is 6 years old. His brother passed away around Christmas time aged 5.5.
Rio is fed every night at 5pm. When I get home from work and go into the kitchen he is waiting in the same place and squeaks loudly. If I'm somewhere else in the house he will let me know it's almost 5pm!
The last few days ive been home working and he has squeaked at random times in the day in the same way he would do at 5pm. Ive fed him a small amount of food and he's gobbled it up only to squeak for more later!
I don't want to over feed him but he's always had a good appetite and he eats a varied diet from tomatoes to strawberries to blueberries to kale. I try to give 5 different types a day and he's always got plenty of fresh hay.
Do I try to ignore him? He's 6 so I am very much spoiling him. He shows no signs of tiredness or being slow and just loves living inside and having us round him.
