I wanted to warn the forum about Cage Creations, because I see them recommended on here and I like to support small businesses. However, I've had an extremely poor experience and I can see from reviews that others have had also.

I ordered more than £50 of Correx liners for my cage and received a tracking number. This tracking number was never updated: in fact Cage Creations didn't ever provide the parcel to Royal Mail.

I e-mailed them asking for an update. No response. I chased them by e-mail for a week, no response. They don't have a number you can call.

I ended up contacting them on Facebook and threatening a charge-back. No direct response, but I then received an entirely unapologetic e-mail ignoring all my messages and casually telling me one of the items was out of stock. I begrudgingly agreed to have one of my liners in a different colour to the rest and then... Nothing. No new tracking number. No reply. It seems I'm back to square one.

I've given up. Fortunately I paid on my credit card so I haven't lost the money.

If you look at their reviews on Facebook and elsewhere you'll see others who have ordered then waited ages (sometimes months) without any response to their e-mails, and then maybe eventually received an order out of the blue, or maybe not.

I wish I'd never ordered from them; I thought I was paying for the convenience of a pre-made liner, but I've ended up having to make my own whilst I wait and pay for theirs.

Order from them at your peril!

Are you able to leave a review ? That will alert future customers about the problems
Thank you for telling us !
I’m glad you didn’t lose your money but what a hassle for you

Sorry to hear that you had a bad experience, we have ordered from Cage Creations in the past(a few years ago) without issue.
I hope you manage to get your money back soon.

Thank you letting us know. It's not acceptable for any company to behave this way. We accept things go wrong but they should provide a high standard of customer service throughout 😡

Well my order just turned up!

I think it's just poorly run, no one checks their e-mails, and there is no other way to contact them.

I think you spin the wheel ordering from them. I'm unhappy, but my order did eventually arrive.

Had the same experience with them with poor communication - in my case i had to return an item. I ended up messaging his wife's business (his wife sells fleece liners, etc - i had to do a lot of digging to find these out LOL) then it was sorted out. I think he runs the business by himself so don't have time to read emails but it should not be an excuse.

i still do think they have amazing items and quite cheap compared to others, just wish their communication is better.

That would explain why I received the fleece liner I ordered from that other company with a tracking number in the name of his: I had assumed it was finally my Correx and quite surprised to find the fleece.

In fairness, the products are of good quality (both the Correx and the fleece) and I have no complaints about the price. But completely ignoring all contact from your customers isn't running a business.
