Not much to say, other than the fact that I was having a nice cuddle with lulu, when I heard a loud tummy rumble and saw this poo.. wet, foul smelling with what looks like mucus on it...

Any advice? I’ve never dealt with this before.

Please take your piggy off any fresh food until 24-48 until after the poos have normalised to give the gut microbiome time to rebalance. It is likely just a mild tummy upset.
Only if things don't look noticeably better again within 24 hours or your piggy is getting worse (poos are losing shape) or your piggy is suddenly going flat and doesn't want to eat at all (GI stasis), then please see a vet asap.
Switch from weighing weekly to weighing daily at the same time.

Has your piggy recently been on the lawn or been fed plenty of fresh grass?

Thank you! Her poops are drier today, but really small and weirdly shaped, so I’m keeping her on just hay and nuggets.

Yes actually, the girls got to have some time in the garden yesterday. I didn’t think it would cause her tummy any upset though, because we’ve been feeding her grass regularly since we adopted them both!

Are you weighing daily? If necessary offer additional syringe feed or mushed pellets if she wants them. It is a good sign that the poos are firming up. If you have a healthy companion, you help the gut to rebalance by giving 'poo soup'.

Yes I started weighing daily as soon as the issues started.

On Monday was her usual weigh in and she was 1086, yesterday she was 1079 and today she is 1038g.

I will definitely try what you suggested.

It is about in line with a mild tummy upset and should correct itself once your girl is feeling fine in herself again; we only speak of weight loss from 50g onward.
