If you could use incontinence pads under shavings.

I am still trying to find what is the easiest and best for me. I started off with shavings and hay. Following that I moved onto newspaper and towels under profleece. Found I was never out of the bit with washing so moved onto megazorb with newspaper underneath then topped with shavings. I am finding the newspaper gets wet too quickly. I don't like the megazorb so once that is finished I am going to shavings and hay.

Sorry it seems a bit long winded.

What about puppy training pads? i buy the cheap ones from poundland, cut them in to 8 pieces and put them in the corners where the pigs wee, Then just swap them for a fresh one each day. Keeps everything fresh and clean!

I think puppy training pads are ok, heard that other people use them, so probably safe for animals. Incontinence pads for humans may contain odour reducing chemicals, elastic, liquid absorbing granules that may be harmful to guinea pigs. This is just a thought though, I really don't know, so no help at all really. lol. xx

Puppy pads are generally scented, well they smell anyway! They're meant to attract the puppy to the pad. Dunno if the smell will make a difference, but if you cover up the pads so the pigs don't munch on them should be fine.

I know quite a few forum members use these [ame]http://www.amazon.co.uk/Washable-Absorbent-Bed-Pad-90cms/dp/B000MES1W8/ref=sr_1_7?ie=UTF8&qid=1288955362&sr=8-7[/ame] under fleece. It's this I am thinking of.

Well they're from poundland so a pound! For five in a pack but I get 8 pices out of each one. I've also had a pack of 30 from Wilkinsons
