as above and i was wondering what every one else thought i have 2 6 month old sows who are indoor piggies and they share a nero 4 any advice would be appreciated thanks :(|)

I wouldn't have three guinea pigs in a Nero 4. Your girls still have some room to grow, and with a third guinea pig of any gender adding another hormone filled critter to the mix is just asking for bickering - especially if the trio doesn't instantly bond.

ok thanks for your help its probably best to put it on the back burner for now i think :)

Neutered boar

Hello
Great news you are considering a neutered boar.
I have found rehoming a lonely boar very rewarding.
3 of my boars are neutered and now happily living with a sow.You quite often find neutered boars advertised for rehome on Guineapigrehome website.
But i rehomed mine and had them neutered myself. The cost was £38 each inclusive of pre and post op checks. After 6 weeks we had the joy of seeing them popcorn around their cage with a new found friend.
I wish you well what ever you decide to do.
Darcy in my avatar was my first boar rehomed from a lonely cage with no company he now lives with madge and is very happy

Things can still get very lively (and smelly) when one of the girls is in season, so you really need enough space.

Otherwise, having a neutered boar with a girl or two (or even more like me!) makes for a very stable group and I would recommend that you rather add a neutered boar than another girl to a small group of girls, especailly when they are still fairly young and usually accepting.

thanks every one what size cage would you recomend for 3 when the weather gets warmer they will be moving in to an 8x6 shed but they will be sharing the shed with 2 rabbits (housed seperately to the pigs) many thanx and a happy new year to all :)

The recommended minimum size for 3 piggies is 5ft x 2ft :)
