It stank! what little he did eat was going straight threw him, and his pee was reli strong and nasty! It was in the shed and everytime * walked in there just got got hit in the face with the horrid smell!

I have loads of pics of him alive, I spent a good 20mins with him after he died to say goodbye etc, now I have all his funny, quirky pics of him to remember him by :) x

awwww, poor you :... I still haven't been able to wash my Smores's blanket since he's been gone. At least you had the courage to do that.

I understand and sympathise completely, I still have the top from when my cat Bobby was put to sleep (8 yrs ago). The jumpers I wore when the girls were pts have been washed but still carry their hair - I wont remove it. The blanket which went with them when they were pts and then when they travelled to be cremated is tucked into my pillowcase, although it has been washed due to it having poo on it. On occasions when I'm feeling a bit down or had a bad day at work I will take it out and have a 'snuggle' with it, might seem a bit sad but it helps - I used to talk to them if I was having a bad day.

Lots of hugs to everyone.
I'm the opposite I can leave things out for 2-3 days max then they have to be cleaned and put away.

We found out my hammie Kit had died in her sleep last Saturday. Was a total shock I was hysterial. She was only 10month. I kept forgetting she had gone and kept wandering in to see if she was up. On Monday I tidied everything away and chucked the cage out. It was going anyway. Looking at her empty cage was too painful.

I do understand keeping little parts of them around though, I have a feeling il be the same when its Jake my cats turn. We have such a strong bond. Thankfully hes only about 4 so no worries for a while.
