Washing line fun!

I made a 'washing line' across the top of my boys pens (its safe they cant get tangled) and draped hay over it, strips of paper, bells, a chew stick and a mirror (the type you get for a budgie) They just LOVE running under the paper and chewing it. And the novely of hay hanging down to munch on, and the bells ringing brought much excitement to my boys. The baby was unsure at first, but spent half an hour going crackers once he realised it was good fun to run underneath and peep through. He drove Jasper nuts chasing him round and pouncing :)) I sat watching them for ages and laughed at the noises and popcorning. Dougal was beside himself with excitement when the strips of paper ended up dangling at the end of the tunnel. I would post pics but my camera is broken :(
What homemade toys have brought your piggies lots of fun?

Your washing line sounds like fun!

Another good one is a "car wash" fleece. You cut strips into it nearly all the way up, so all the strips are still connected at the top and tie that across the cage.
 
That washing line sounds like such a good idea! Might try and make something similar for my two. Would love to see a video :)
 
The washing line idea sounds great fun, been trying to think of some ideas for my girls cage and this sounds really good! Will try setting something up for my girls :)
 
Paper bags go down really well in our house

Handily enough when we order an indian takeaway it always comes with a bagof mixed salad which me and the OH hate but piggies love, and it comes in a brown paper bag!

Nothing funnier than watching them sit for ages trying to work out how to get the yummy salad or herbs out of the bag then getting the handles round their middles in a rush to get straight in there and munch!
