Hi everyone, Pablo is recovering amazingly from his operation, eating, drinking and toileting normally. I am over the moon! :yahoo:

His wounds look fine and there is no swelling evident, but I think I should wash it in a saline solution as advised by both the vet and people here on the forum.

How should I go about it? Should I use a cotton swab? Cotton balls. Or should I just squeeze some of it on to him. My main concern is prodding him and causing discomfort.

Has anyone here had to do this with neutered board? If so how did you go about it?

Just dab it on with a cotton wool ball, mind you don't get cotton wool over it. Must admit I never did with my boar, but if it's bloody I'd clear it gently. If it has scabbed over I would leave it as you may open the wound. If you unsure ring the vet or the practice manager.
