Hi I'd like everyone to meet Spot. I rescued him 5 days ago, he was advertised through this site on the free ads section. Although I contacted the lady through another site and collected him 5 days ago. He was living with 4 females and is nueted. The lady had been treating him with Ivomec for small tropical birds.
I brought him back to my Ranch, and I treated him with Spot on mite treatment prescribed by my vet. He has had the very best of everything. The freshest vegetables. Although the first bowl I put in, I don't think he'd seen veg for a while as did not know what to do with it. He has readi grass as well as hay. Guinea pig Food and fresh herbs.
After 5 days, he now comes out of his igloo, and does not hide. He's very noisy at veg time. He's been back to the vets this morning for a check up. He is gaining weight, and has FLUFF growing back on his tummy!! He is the most loving and giving Guinea pig anyone could wish for. He just shows affection and loves his cuddles. Please look at his bold tummy and claws. I think one day he will be a handsome black and white Rex.
