OK most have you have seen this video now on here, But I just want you to see whats hes in..

Now Questions from previous Thread about this... Just trying to change the title and get some more help.

But i dont get this part.. For some reason When hes in that and I come up close He run away and hides and sometimes grinds his teeth.. If hes in his normal cage he doesnt really have much of an issue? Is that just because he doesnt know the surroundings well enough.. I have started to hand feed grass in there to get him used to my hand in there..

Cant figure this out though... Why when we try to pet him or get him out he runs away and\or starts grinding his teeth. To get him out we have to corner him and he seems to get really angry but once we get him out he is tottaly fine and loves being petted or laying on us.. I dont get as to why he does this?

Just today, I was downstairs, I came upstairs saw him walking around I started talking to him and as i got to the top of stairs he started to run and was grinding his teeth hard at me and running away. I just dont get why he does that..... Its like i have to force him to get out, but onces hes out and on us he just squeaks away and purrs.

I'd guess he feels safe and comfortable in his own cage. But this is a new environment, and maybe because it's big, he feels more scared. But he will get used to it.

Also, maybe he doesn't realise it's you at first, so he gets frightened. Guinea pigs are meant to have quite bad eyesight and don't know it's you until you get right up close.

Or maybe it's cos he's on the ground and you're looming over him? Is his normal cage on a stand or table, or the ground too? He'll probably get used to being on the ground too I'd say. :)

anyone else have any other input here? Thanks
